Phaethon

The story of Phaethon is one of a boy that has to prove himself, and its meaning can still be meaningful. He is said to be the son of Helios. Phaethon sought to meet his father, and when Helios saw his son he was so excited that he would grant him a wish, without knowing what it was. Helios had to let Phaethon ride his chariot, but the horses were too powerful and Zeus had to kill Phaethon before he caused more destruction.
